Sometimes the answer is a dehumidifier. Often it is not — it is a disconnected dryer vent, a vented crawl space that should be sealed, a bathroom fan that does not move enough air, or groundwater that needs a drain rather than a machine. A site that only ever tells you to buy a dehumidifier is not much use.
